This past Sunday, April 8th, I asked the question, “What would you want to share if you knew that you were going to die?” These are the verses that I want to be remembered.
In our darkest hour, there is hope!
5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. (Psalm 42:5)
Why is there hope?
9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. (2 Chronicles 16:9a)
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
What do I do when it appears there is no hope?
12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. (2 Chronicles 20:12)
