Rev. Phil Andrukaitis (Pastor Phil)

In September of 2022, Bible Believing Baptist Church of Gray, Maine, welcomed Rev. Phil Andrukaitis as its pastor. Pastor Phil brings over 33 years of pastoral experience as he has served several churches throughout the Greater Portland and Mid-Coast area. Pastor Phil’s greatest joy is fulfilling his call as a pastor, helping churches strengthen their ministries.
Upon his retirement from full-time pastoral ministry in 2018, Pastor Phil, suited with unique skills set and a compassionate heart, has been employed as a hospice chaplain with Beacon Hospice (Auburn, Maine) since 2019 and a bereavement coordinator since 2021.
In September 2022, Phil joined the team as a Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator of a new hospice agency – Affinity Care of Maine (South Portland). Pastor Phil believes that the hospice ministry experiences have given him a greater understanding and deepened his compassion for the dying and their loved ones who will grieve. Pastor Phil believes these folks are more than clients or patients; they are “individuals entrusted to our care.” They deserve the absolute best comfort from Affinity’s team of caregivers – comfort for their body, soul, and spirit.
When Pastor Phil is not at work, he resides in Norway, Maine, with his wife, Sally. Together they have two children and five grandchildren and enjoy their visits. Their daughter lives locally while their son lives out of state.

There is one more enjoyment that Pastor Phil possesses—riding his 2011 Harley Davidson Road King and serving the biker community in Southern Maine as a biker chaplain with “Black Sheep Harley Davidson for Christ” [BSHDFC] for over 12 years. Having a heart for bikers, Pastor Phil has developed close relationships with many bikers, ministering to them on various levels, including hospital visits, praying with them, and officiating memorial services for their families.
